 OUR STORY

Before we became Restaurant owners, we owned a Trucking Company called New Era Transportation Inc. In 2018 our Trucking business was expanding, and we needed more space to park our Trucks and Trailers. While driving on route 30 towards York, Pa Alen passed “O’brien’s Paradise Cove” and thought this would be a perfect place for our Trucks and Trailers. Alen was familiar with the name O'brien since some of his best friends in High School had the same last name.  After some thought, Alen decided to get on google and call the Restaurant. Luckily for us, Fred Obrien answered. After explaining what we were looking for; Fred and Alen decided to meet the next day. As soon as they met, Fred and Alen instantly connected as they knew each other for years. Once Alen walked into the Restaurant, he fell in love with the stonework and the history of the place.  Soon the conversation shifted from Truck and Trailer parking to the Restaurant and Bar business. Alen weas fascinated by Freds stories and asked if they would be interested in selling. Alen has always been a risk taker and loves new challenges. That same night, Alen went home and told his family that they are going into the Restaurant business. One month later we became restaurant owners without any experience but a crazy belief that we can do this. With Fred and Linda mentorship, guidance, and help we knew we could do this. And just like that we were owners of a Trucking Company and a Restaurant. After 2 years we decided to sell our Trucking Company and solely focus on the Restaurant. It was the best decision for our family as we are 100% committed to growing this restaurant to something special. Our goal is to offer a special and unique experience to all of our customers and make them feel as they are part of our family!
